After the success of his first two books PARALLEL LINES and ALCHEMY, here is a new volume, PRINTS MATTER , specifically devoted to the role of prints in his quilts.

The painter's approach, selective cutting revisited, Pamela shares her thoughts and her always innovative and spectacular technique!

16 quilts were chosen specifically to illustrate his theory, using methods ranging from traditional piecing to backing sewing to appliqué. They are aimed at all levels of patchwork skills and will allow you to explore with originality the provocative potential of multi-colored prints. The Kaffe Fassett traveling exhibition features 3 quilts by Pamela to illustrate the Power of Pattern which inspired Kaffe to comment upon visiting the exhibition: "Pattern is the best vehicle for expressing the magical qualities of color."
